Time for Some Art

Hi everyone! I haven’t had much to say lately as I’m home spending time with my parents and trying to work through the ongoing struggle of evaluating medication. If you have ever tried to find a med that works for your mental illness, you may know what I’m talking about. Endless trial and error is what it feels like.

So the family watched Big Eyes last night, a wonderful movie with Amy Adams, Cristoph Waltz, music by Danny Elfman, and directed by Tim Burton. Please watch it it’s amazing.

I don’t want to spoil the plot or anything, so I’ll just say it has a ton of art in it and deals with how art in a reflection of life and the soul. It got me motivated to take pictures of the art I created my senior year of high school for AP. And here they are. I’m not going to really say anything about them, I just wanted to put them out there.

  1. These are fantastic! I know the deeper I tend to go within myself and my struggles the less I remember the importance of art both as a hobby of mine but also as therapy.

I feel like giving up art has caused me to lose a part of my soul that I hope to get back one day.

Keep being you, and I hope you find inner peace soon. Love, A.

    • Thank you so much! I hope that one day you start doing art again, just from what you said I can tell that it means a lot to you. Maybe we can get together and just sit and do art together? 🙂 let me know what you think!
