Being depressed is like being sick every day. It feels awful and it makes you feel like you don’t want to do anything. You feel sluggish, heavy headed, maybe you even have a headache. But it can’t easily be fixed with over the counter medicine or a trip to the doctor. A prescription for a week will not make it go away. Then there’s that one day where you think you’re better enough to actually do things, but later on you are overcome with bad feelings again, because you strained yourself too much.
